Experience
Self-Employed Speech Language Pathologist 2011 - present
As a Speech Language Pathologist I am responsible for completing online and/or in-person speech and language diagnostic assessments for students who demonstrate delays or disorders in articulation, receptive and/or expressive language, expressive communication, social thinking, pragmatics, voice or fluency. After interpreting the results of the evaluation I develop appropriate goals and objectives in their areas of need. Then implementing Evidence Based Practices use the tele-therapy platform to provide the skilled and differentiated instruction necessary to ensure that each student makes progress towards meeting goals. I am also responsible for providing tele-therapy for students who have existing IEP goals and objectives and staying in communication with teachers and parents to ensure that student is demonstrating progress in the areas of deficits across all settings.

Speech Language Pathologist - Beth Ingram Therapy Services
2001 - 2011
As an SLP working for Beth Ingram Therapy Services I worked in the private practice, public school and private school settings. I was responsible for completing comprehensive diagnostic assessments and developing and carrying out therapy goals and objectives for children with receptive/expressive language deficits, neurological deficits, articulation deficits, fluency disorders, developmental delays, Pervasive Developmental Delay and Autism Spectrum Disorder. While working in the public and private schools, I was responsible for developing and implementing the use of a variety of assistive communication strategies and devices for students with limited verbal abilities. Working together with teachers to develop visual strategies to assist students with language delays work as independently as possible. As a member of an Interdisciplinary Team I worked with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Behavior Analysts, families and school staff to develop Individual Education Plan goals and objectives.
